The font in the daily mail is alot bigger and more assertive

the font in the guardian uses smaller text and is more subtle

Image next to article normally relates to story with imagery

The guardian has not so important news on the skyline 

Use mid market NOT tabloid#

Daily mail has only 1 hard news story and the guardian has a lot more hard news stories meaning they like facts more than filler.

The daily mail tend to separate people by gender with derogatory headline like dressing a man up in an apron and humiliating him.

We can see news anywhere with the new technological age

All news outlets have social media and can post news stories frequently

On websites it is constantly updated

Advertisers are more inclined to reach out to news outlets

Social participation 

Gerbner is about social media manipulating views for example the guardian is more socialist therefore you would believe more in socialism by reading the guardian etc.

DIRT

Strength:

I did good on the theorist question that referred to clay shirky of which i revised and because of this i did really good on theorist question.

I also did well on identifying online media and recognised that advertisers want to put their adverts on the mainstream news websites.

Weakness: 

I need to revise more because all of the information wasn't the best of my ability and most of I winged, so in the future i must revise excessively

What will I do to improve:

I will be sure to revise way more than i have done for this mock, I will also revise more about online media and work on my ability to compare the daily mail and the guardian .
